Alumni

One of our students (now alumnus), Gian-Yu Lee, gave a talk on "Individual and Collective Risk Models" for life insurance at the Michigan Undergraduate Mathematics Conference at the University of Michigan-Flint in October 2005.

On November 8, 2005, alumnus Kevin House gave a presentation on the actuarial profession and his firm, Watson Wyatt Worldwide. Kevin spent nearly an hour answering questions from curious actuarial students afterwards.

Caleb Orr is working with Deutsche Bank in London, England.

Daryl Posnett has started working on a Ph.D. in Computer Science at University of California at Davis.

Brian Keithley spent the summer in a special program at Cornell University, Ithaca, studying Analysis.
