It is
always so nice to hear from our alumni
Recently, Kevin House sent the following email to Dr. Bette Warren:
I hope you are well. Not sure if you remember me or not, but just in case not I'll give you a little background. I graduated from EMU in 1995 with an Actuarial Science and Economics major. I have since passed all of the actuarial exams and have been working at Watson Wyatt in Southfield for the last 10 years. The reason I am contacting you is to find out how the actuarial program at EMU is going and to establish a link between EMU and Watson Wyatt. I am part of the management team that heads the local retirement practice. We have approximately 130 individuals on our team, most of whom are actuaries or aspiring actuaries. We are the largest employer of actuaries in Michigan and are always looking for more talented individuals. Please let me know if you or your students would like more information.
On a personal note I am married to another Eastern Alum and we have a 6 year old son. We live in Brighton. My hobbies and activities include anything to do with my son and sports, particularly golf and basketball.
Regards,
Kevin
