Dr
Bette Warren honored by the Michigan Section of the Mathematical
Association of America
Dr. Bette Warren is the 2001-02 recipient
of the Michigan Section of the MAA Distinguished Service Award. Dr. Warren
was recognized for her contributions including serving as Chair of the Women's
Studies Committee (1992-97), Secretary-Treasurer (1995-97), Vice Chair (1997-98),
and Chair (1998-99).
The award was presented at the
Michigan Section - MAA annual meeting at Lawrence Technological University
on May 10, 2002.
