Paul Barton ('01,
Math) is working for Saline Area Schools. He maintains the school

Jason Roy just completed
his Ph.D. in Biostatistics at the UM. He has a job at Brown University.

Paul Deemer
graduated in 1996 and has been conducting interviews with EMU students
for internships at Amerisure.
Tracy Deeter
graduated in 2001 and plays professional soccer in Germany.
Karl Frinkle
passed his doctoral qualifying exams in mathematics at
the University of New Mexico.
Jason Kong
teaches math at Birmingham Groves High School.
Steve Koponen
graduated in 1993. He received the Milken Award in 2001.
Rhonda Newton
is teaching math at Salem High School in Plymouth-Canton. She loves
it. Her son is in 4th grade now and her daughter is in 1st grade.
Elizabeth Radike
teaches math at Warren Woods Tower High School.
Shawn
Rafalski studies mathematics in the graduate program
at the University of Illinois at Chicago and he says "with
four 500-level courses my social life is rapidly shrinking to the
null-set".
Shayna Shaffer,
Elementary math minor, received one of the few June 2001 awards
of the MCOATT (Michigan Certificate for Outstanding Achievement
in Teaching with Technology).
